Story
Hello,
My name is Lucy and I represent our family owned and operated SA removals company “Total Care Movers”. Over the years we have seen many people affected by domestic violence who need to move house urgently. We have decided to make a difference by creating our very own fundraising appeal to assist South Australian women and children affected by domestic and family violence. I will be participating in Stadium Stomp 2019 this winter and will be climbing thousands of stairs within the Adelaide Oval for my chosen charity, the Zahra Foundation. Zahra Foundation Australia
Zahra Foundation Australia is a newly established charity that supports women and children affected by domestic and family violence across South Australia. We specifically aim to address the financial abuse and disadvantage often experienced as a result of domestic violence. To do this we provide small grants opportunities that support women during their time of crisis. We also develop and deliver tailored programs that promote the economic empowerment of women and their children. Creating pathways for women into further education, training and employment will support them to break the cycle of violence and poverty in their lives.
